Sailor Moon

This is going to be hard for me; I’ve never seen any TV show or TV series because since I was a child my mother didn’t let me watch TV and even when I did, because on weekends I woke up earlier than my parents to have the TV for my own, I didn’t put many attention for what I was watching, so those series wasn’t very relevant for my life. That’s why today I am so out of touch with television. But the cartoon I remember most is Sailor Moon because I believed I was fan of it at four years old, even when I didn’t watch the entire show.

This anime serie is based on a manga from 1992 and started transmissions in the same year on TV Asahi in Japan. The animation was managed by the studio Toei Animation.

There are a lot of seasons and different steps of the plot, but I think I watched just the first one.  In this first season, appear the 5 classical sailors in fight with the Dark Kingdom. The protagonist is Usagi Tsukino, better known for me as Serena, who turns into Sailor Moon. The mission of Sailor Moon is to find the Moon Princess whom she is sworn to protect while protecting the world. In the way she finds allies in the mysterious masked man and the other four sailor girls. It’s a great TV serie for girls, dreamy little girls who want to save the world.

Thanks mom for not letting me watch TV.

The sustainable conscience is missing

I do want to recycle anything that’s possible, but I think that if I keep enough things to go to a recycling point every month I will turn my house into a trash hill, and do it weekly is kind of impossible with my timetable. So there’s always a part of the trash I could recycle but I don’t because of time.

I have to confess that I could ride my bike every day to the university, I don’t live so far from here, but I am lazy and I am afraid to be run over by a bus or a car, because in Macul Avenue there aren’t cycling ways to ride safe, so I take the bus every morning and every evening. Even in other occasions I use the car to transport those filming stuff from the university to the location, it’s very difficult to me to use a nice with the environment transport.

I had the opportunity to join some eco-organization from other faculties of this university, which are not very far from here, but I don’t have enough time for all  the things I do already, I don’t believe I could get more time to do anything else.

I would like to make time to recycle more, I don’t even know how grey is my carbon footprint, I haven’t cared about it yet. I would like to join an eco-organization and do something more about it, because it’s about the city we are living in, the whole world is contaminated and the sustainable conscience is missing.

We are the best!

http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/apr/17/we-are-the-best-review

The article I have chosen is about a Swedish film from 2013 directed by Lukas Moodysson. This is: We are the best!, adapted from the novel "Never Goodnight" by Coco Moodysson, the director’s wife.

It talks about the plot of the film, three 12-years-old girls forming a punk band in 1982. Mira Barkhammar as Bobo is the leader of the band, the guitarist is performed by Liv LeMoyne and the pretty face is interpreted by Mira Grosin. Those three girls complement each other on the group, we watch in the movie their day-to-day lives around forming this band. What’s funny about the movie is that those three girls never had the discussion about what their band’s name is going to be. Also this film is about children playing to be adults and how badly they make it. The article also mentions that this motion picture is entertaining and real.

It says that it could be like an autobiographical film in the sense that the couple seems reflected in the screen about their own teen rebellion.

After reading this article I badly want to watch this movie, so there is another film for my torrent downloads list. Because this is a kind of movie that doesn’t arrive to Chile at the commercial theatres and it’s hard to find it too at cinema clubs.
